BEXLEY TAX FORCE ON AGING The Bexley Task Force on Aging is an assembly of concerned residents of Bexley and representatives of local agencies and religious organizations which seek to help older adults maintain the ability to guide the direction of their lives by addressing their concerns. It works with the City of Bexley, other groups and agencies to improve the quality of life of older Bexley residents. The Task Force recently took a survey of all Bexley households and determined that information about available resources for health care and care at home are high priority.
Programs of the Task Force include:
Information Dissemination Committee: this group is responsible for these pages and the publication of "Did You Know?" in The Eastside Messenger, The Bexley News and This Week in Bexley.
Sensitivity Training was sponsored for staff in organizations that serve Bexley residents.
Focus groups are being conducted in March and April to further define the needs of Seniors in Bexley. |
