Workstation Systems: desktop workstations and centralized printer-faxers-copiers

The Technology office spearheads the effective use of computers. The Technology office evaluates and develops development programs for the staff that are comprised of in-house and external training.

The Technology office continues to evaluate current and future technologies. In addition, they partner with other cities to study new developments and applications of technology. Potential projects include: community-wide WiFi systems, advanced Homeland Security systems, and advanced internal software applications, and advanced Internet-base applications.

The Bexley Technology Commission is comprised of 21 volunteers and residents of the community that offer their experience and interest in the use of technology in the community. This commission evaluates current and emerging technologies and their relevance to the community. You're welcome to monitor their explorations and discussions within the Bexley Technology Commission Yahoo Groups Discussion Forum.
